All CS2 Overpass Map Callouts You Need to Know
Overpass is a notable map in Berlin, Germany, that requires some strategic thinking. It's one of the few maps in Counter-Strike that's based on a real place. You can see German signs and the Berlin TV Tower in the background. The map's design, with overpasses, small hallways, canals, and parks, makes it feel like you're really in Berlin, which makes the game more interesting.
Overpass was released in 2013 as part of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and quickly stood out for its unique layout and real-world setting. To do well on Overpass, you need to work with your team, know the map well, and time your moves right.
If you're guarding B-Site, taking back A-Site, or moving through Connector, naming the spots correctly can really help your team win. This guide will show you where all the important spots are so you can name them easily and play like a pro.

Spawns & Surroundings
T-Side areas
The T-Side on Overpass offers multiple attack routes and early control opportunities.
Players can branch out toward Fountain for A-Site pressure or move through Tunnels to Water for a B-Site push.
Understanding these callouts is essential for coordinating split attacks, utility line-ups, and rotating efficiently.

- T-Spawn – Terrorist starting area.
- Upper Tunnels – Stairs that divide into two directions: Fountain and Lower Tunnels.

- Alley – The path from T-Spawn to Tracks.
- Tracks – A messy area that leads to Monster and Short Tunnel.
- Short Tunnel – A small tunnel that leads to Water from where Ts push B-Site.
- Monster – Tunnel used by Ts to enter B-Site from T-Spawn.

- Ladder – A ladder located in Upper Tunnels that goes to Lower Tunnels.

- Lower Tunnels – A tunnel from where Ts push Connector or Squeaky.
- Squeaky – Door between Water and Lower Tunnels.
- Connector – Stair that connects Mid with Lower Tunnels.
A-Site/ CT-Side areas
Counter-Terrorists (CTs) spawn directly on or very close to A-Site, which provides a significant tactical advantage. Unlike maps where defenders need to rotate into position from spawn, Overpass allows CTs to immediately set up on A without delay.
This not only gives them the ability to secure early control of key areas like Toilets, A Long, and Mid, but also helps them conserve utility and prepare for fast pushes from the T-Side.

- Van – Vehicle located at the back of A-Site.
- Bank – The large building next to the A-Site, important for cover.
- Signpost – Decorative sign near A-Site between A Short and A Long.
- Close Left – Corner hiding spot on A-Site near A Long.

- A Default – Default bomb plant on A-Site.
- Optimus – The truck on A-site that was named after Optimus Prime.
- Bins – Trash bins next to Bank.
Mid
Mid on Overpass is crucial because it's the main way to get to either bomb site. If you want to control the map, you need to control Mid.
Whether you're going through Fountain to A Long, or sneaking through Connector, Mid gives you chances to move around, attack from the side, or get into fights early.
Knowing the callouts for everything in Mid helps your team work together to attack, defend essential spots, and prepare to take a site.

- Playground – A playground where kids usually play.
- Fountain – An area with a small fountain that connects Tunnels with Mid and A Long.
- Party – Elevated area along Mid near Fountain with benches and decorations.

- Mid – Open central hub connecting key pathways.
- Toilets – Indoor area from Mid to A-Site.

- Hitmarker – A connection point between Playground and A Long.
- Rock – Cover located at the start of A Long.
- Tree – Tree on A Long near Long Toilets area.
- A Long – Long pathway leading from Fountain/Playground to A-Site.
- Cafe – Wall sign by Toilets and A Long.
- Bench – Situated opposite Cafe near A-Site.

- A Short – Connects Mid (via Toilets) to A-Site.
- Flowers – Stairs with grass on each side.

- Long Toilets – Toilets that lead to A Long.
B-Site
B-Site on Overpass is small and chaotic. To win here, you need fast pushes, good teamwork, and innovative use of your equipment. There are many ways to get in, like through Monster or Short, and enemies can also attack from Heaven above.
Knowing the name of each spot is key for quick callouts and good plays. Whether defending from Graffiti or planting at B Default, learning these callouts will help your team react faster and take control of the site.

- Sewers – The water area that comes when you enter Monster.
- Pillar – Central column on B-Site offering partial cover.
- Pit – The water area under Heaven.
- Bridge – Structure near B Default linking to Walkway.

- Graffiti – The wall at the back of B-Site, directly near Walkway.
- Boost – Spot in Water where players can give boosts to gain an advantage on B-Site.
