All CS2 Train Map Callouts You Need to Know
Train is a popular map in Counter-Strike that's been around since 1999. It's based on a train yard located in Russia. You can see this from the Russian signs, the cold buildings, and the overall vibe, reminding of Russia's Soviet era.
Train is popular because of its long sightlines, vertical levels, and tight choke points, making it a map that demands precision, awareness, and strong team coordination. Talking between teammates is a must-do. But for that, u need to know the callouts.
If you want to defend A-Site or attack B-Site, learning the map and its callouts will really help you beat the other team.

Spawns & Surroundings
T-Side areas
The Terrorist side of Train revolves around strategic map control and precise site entries. You can go the long way through Ivy or charge straight through A Main – there are many ways to split up and put pressure on both sites.
You can set up quick attacks or more careful pushes in key spots like T Stairs, Long Hall, and Showers. Knowing these T-Side callouts will help you plan good site hits and collaborate on lurking or splitting up.

- T-Spawn – Starting area for Terrorists (top-left of the map).
- T Stairs – Steps just right of T-Spawn that lead toward B Halls and B-Site.
- A Main – Primary entrance from T-Spawn into A-Site, facing Red train.
- Dumpster – Trash bin on Alley, proper for off-angle peeks.
- Alley – Runway from T-Spawn to Ivy.

- Pigeons – Area between Ivy and Alley.
- Ivy – Long hallway from Pigeon toward A2.

- Kitchen – Area between T Stairs and Showers.
- Lockers – Room next to Kitchen where workers’ lockers are.
- Long Hall – Narrow corridor linking T Stairs and B Halls.

- Showers / Control – Parallel area around A Main and Long Hall.
- Overpass – Connects Showers with B Halls.
CT-Side areas
On Train, good positioning and fast rotations are super important if you're on the Counter-Terrorist side. CTs begin close to B-Site and usually take routes like CT Stairs, CT Tunnel, and the A1–A2 alleys to reach the main spots.
To properly defend sites, teams must work together, especially around Ivy, A-Site, and when rotating through Connector. Knowing these CT-Side callouts is key to keeping control of the map and reacting to quick Terrorist plays.

- CT-Spawn – Starting area for Counter-Terrorists, also refers to the nearby back of B-Site path.
- CT Stairs – Stairs from CT-Spawn up toward A1.
- CT Tunnel / Short – Corridor leading t
- o B-Site.

- CT-Long – Corridor that leads to Headshot.

- A1 – Alley between Old Bomb and CT-Spawn.
- A2 – Alley between Old Bomb and Ivy.
- Chinese Door – Small gap that leads to A-Site.
- Camera – Wall area on A-Site between A1 and A2.
A-site
Train's A-Site is open but tricky, with trains everywhere, tight corners, and spots above and below. Since attackers can come from A Main, Ivy, or Popdog, defenders must move around a lot between spots like Red, Yellow, and E-Box. Clear callouts, like Olof, Hell, Camera, and Old Heaven, are essential for trading kills, taking the site back, and holding it down.

- Olof – Small cubby near Red train.
- Yellow – Train on A Main around Chinese Doors.
- Hell – Cubby near Green train facing Ivy.
- Red (A) – Red train closer to Bomb train on A-Site.
- A Default – A place where a bomb is usually planted.

- Old Heaven – Elevated skybox above A-Site was removed after an update.
- E-Box – Electric box between Popdog and Bomb Train.
- Bomb Train (A) – Central train on A where Ts plant the bomb.
- Old Bomb – Train near CT-Spawn, formerly the A plant position.
- Popdog – Mini ladder/room just before B Halls that drops into A-Site near E-Box.
- Connector – Connector between A and B sites.
B-site
B-Site on Train is compact, open, and highly tactical — it's where games are won or lost, with fast pushes and late-round plays happening all the time.
Ts can come in from Upper B or B Ramp and must watch out for spots like Headshot, Cat while working around the trains.
For defense, Bomb Train, Oil, and Blue are key, as CTs can rotate fast from Connector or their spawn. Knowing the B-Site inside and out can help teams take it easily or hold it down.
- Pillar – Area that connects Long Hall to B-Halls.
- Underpass – Stairs that lead to A-Site from Long Hall.

- B Ramp / Stairs / Short – Lower-level entry onto B-Site from B Halls.

- B Halls – The staging area behind B-Site, leading to both B Ramp and Upper B.
- Upper B – Path entering B-Site further from B-Halls.

- B Barrels – Barrels located on B-Site between Connector and CT-Short.
- Headshot – Crouch spot at the end of Cat, where only the head is exposed.
- Sandwich – Space between Red and Blue.
- Oil – Orange train near Headshot/Cat on B-Site.
- Bomb Train (B) – Central train on B-Site where the bomb is planted.

- Cat – Elevated path with ladder on B-Site.
- Back Site – Area behind B-Site, near CT-Spawn.
- Red (B) – Place where Red train used to be, next to Connector on B-Site.
- Blue – Train behind the B Default on B-Site.
- B Default – Place where Ts usually plant the bomb.
