M80 x Skinrave: A Partnership Built for Victory
M80 hasn't been around long, but they've already built a reputation as one of North America's most ambitious Counter-Strike teams. The org, founded in late 2022, has grown into a serious regional contender in a very short period of time and is now a team with real international potential.
For Skinrave, teaming up with M80 is a natural fit. We’ve been steadily building relationships with teams that actually move the needle in CS2, and M80’s rise through the NA scene is exactly that. They’re hungry, calculated, and not afraid of a challenge.
About M80: Building an Empire
Based in Santa Monica, California, M80 was founded on December 8, 2022, by CEO Marco Mereu, and in just over two years, the org has established itself as one of the most ambitious esports organizations in North America.
Fueling their raw ambition is serious financial backing, and support of tennis star Daniil Medvedev as co-owner and investor (a serious winner and gamer himself).
Currently ranked #24 globally, M80 consistently maintains top-30 status while actively pursuing that crucial breakthrough into the global elite. But the plan goes beyond just winning matches. However, competitive success is only part of their strategy. The recent acquisition of Beastcoast, an org with 175M yearly views and a 3.7M fanbase, shows M80 is thinking long-term about building a full-scale gaming and entertainment brand.
