Skinrave x G2 Esports: Supporting the New Era
We’re excited to announce our partnership with G2 Esports as they embark on a fresh chapter in Counter-Strike!
With coach sAw and AWPer SunPayus joining the lineup, G2 is stepping forward with a new, clearer vision for success. We’re here to support that journey and create meaningful experiences for the CS2 community that follows them.
Why G2, Why Now
G2 has carved out a unique position in CS2, cultivating one of the most passionate and loyal fanbases in competitive esports. Despite roster changes and rebuilds, this community has remained steadfast in its support.
Now, as G2 transitions from relying on individual star power to embracing a more systematic, team-oriented approach under sAw's leadership, we see a perfect opportunity to show our support and grow alongside both the organization and its passionate community.
About G2
Founded in 2013 by former League of Legends pro Carlos "ocelote" Rodríguez, G2 Esports has become synonymous with elite competition and spectacular plays. Based in Berlin, this powerhouse organization fields championship teams across multiple esports titles, from League of Legends and Valorant to Counter-Strike and beyond.
Their CS2 legacy is nothing short of legendary. G2 made history by winning three of the most prestigious tournaments back-to-back-to-back: conquering the BLAST Premier World Final 2022, IEM Katowice 2023, and IEM Cologne 2023 in a feat that will be remembered for generations.
But they didn't stop there. G2 claimed IEM Dallas 2024, adding yet another elite trophy to their collection. Then they conquered the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024, defeating Natus Vincere in the Grand Final in Copenhagen. And in 2025, G2 were crowned champions of the BLAST Open London 2025, securing the title after a thrilling five-map battle against Vitality with a hard-fought 3–2 victory.
